Welcome to Heritage Intermediate Grade Center
Heritage IGC opened in August of 2009. We continue to strive to keep our building as beautiful as it was the day we opened, from hallway decorations to outdoor flower beds. We are very proud of our building. It is a "state-of the art" educational facility with Smart Boards and teacher phones in every classroom. We also have been able to provide two computers for student use in each of the classrooms, in addition to the computers located in our computer lab and library. Our teachers take full advantage of this technology to help Heritage IGC students get the most out of each day's lessons.
We set high expectations for our students and for ourselves. We believe that all children can learn and work diligently to meet their individual learning needs. We are data driven, build self-esteem, provide a safe climate of mutual respect, and accomplish these goals by emphasizing Great Expectations' teacher attitudes, responsibility, knowledge and skill with ongoing and appropriate professional development.
